The Spencer Agency Announces Flint’s First Ever
Red Carpet Gala, Cuts Ribbon on Extraordinary Office Space

Flint, MI…The Spencer Agency unveils an office unlike any other in Downtown Flint, on Monday, May 24, 2010 with a Red Carpet Gala event. The grand opening of this hip new space, located in The Capitol Theatre building at 134 E. Second Street, Flint, MI, comes with both the glamour and glitz of local celebrity appearances, and the first public viewing of the office since it’s renovation began last Fall. The event begins at 6:15 p.m. with a VIP press conference and ribbon cutting, with agency tours and networking followed by an open to the public event from 7-9 p.m.

Live music, refreshments, search lights and a grand red carpet welcome the public to what will be an unforgettable event in Downtown Flint. Joshua Spencer, owner of The Spencer Agency, is thrilled to be showing off the new trendy three-story space and invites business owners and professionals to tour the advertising agency and state-of-the-art production studio. “What better way to open this one of a kind space, with an event unlike anything Flint has ever seen downtown,” says Flint Mayor Dayne Walling.

The Spencer Agency has been in business since 2001 and moved to the downtown location to become a part of the revival of the area. Spencer took an existing space that already has a unique feel to it, and gave it a hip new look.

“We’re doing high-tech work here, so why not create this type of space to work in,” said Spencer, whose office includes cutting-edge high top desks with LED back-lighting, artistically created walls that curve, plasma screens and lounge-type seating for guests.

Among those scheduled to speak at the press conference are Flint Mayor Dayne Walling, State Representatives Lee Gonzales and Woodrow Stanley, Interim Director for the Flint Downtown Development Authority Larry Ford, Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce Director Tim Herman and Flint Area Convention & Visitors Bureau Director Jerry Preston. Others planned to be in attendance include State Senators Deb Cherry and John Gleason, Genesee County Commissioner John Northrup and Genesee County Board of Commissioner Chairman Jamie Curtis.
