Mid-Michigan Solar Installs First Roof-Top
Solar Energy System in Genesee County

Flint, MI
– Flint-based Mid-Michigan Solar is putting the final touches on what is to be Genesee County’s first residential roof-top solar energy system. The installation, which is expected to be complete by Friday, July 2, 2010, is a unique project in this area.

“We have done numerous projects in the Detroit-area for both commercial and residential buildings. This is the first renewable energy project of its kind in Genesee County and we are excited to be handling,” said Mid-Michigan Solar owner Howard Croft. The residential project, located at 5277 Worchester in Swartz Creek, MI is being purchased by Mike and Annette Buza.

Croft is a member of the Flint City Energy Council, which recently visited Sweden to gain further knowledge on how this form of energy renewal can be further implemented into our area. Flint City Mayor Dayne Walling was among those who attended the trip.

Mid-Michigan Solar currently has additional projects in the works throughout the state, and is expected to expand and hire an additional six green positions within the next several months.

Mid-Michigan Solar is located in the Capitol Theatre building in Downtown, Flint. To learn more, visit online at
